Attorney Joseph Weishampel practices personal injury law with Tenenbaum Law Group. In his roles with previous firms, Mr. Weishampel represented unions and benefit funds in state and federal courts, including by writing briefs to the Illinois Supreme Court and briefing and arguing a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Weishampel has extensive litigation experience, including recovering millions from delinquent employers on behalf of employee benefit fund clients in federal court suits.

Mr. Weishampel received his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2015. While at Loyola, Mr. Weishampel served as an extern in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, a brief writer for Loyola’s National Moot Court competition team, and a tutor for first-year students. Mr. Weishampel has also co-written two scholarly articles. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton in 2005.

Mr. Weishampel is admitted to the State Bar of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern District of Illinois, the Northern District of Indiana, and the Western District of Wisconsin.
